Amir Zoufonoun
Chief Executive Officer
Amir Zoufonoun has served as CEO of Xicato since July 2018. With over 30 years of strategic and operational leadership experience as a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and technology visionary, Amir has conceived, spearheaded and launched multiple VC and PE funded companies focused on best-of-breed global brands, resulting in technology leadership, market leadership, revenue growth, multiple M&As and a $1B IPO (NASDAQ: WMUX). Selling directly and through local channel partners, Amir’s background includes selling to over 5000 B2B customers in enterprise, government, and service provider segments worldwide. He holds a BSEE, an MSEE, and an E-MBA.
David Derk
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
David Derk is a highly accomplished figure in the lighting industry, renowned for his visionary leadership and remarkable achievements in brand development and technology integration. With a keen eye for innovation and a strategic mindset, David swiftly ascended the ranks within the industry, leveraging his expertise to build some of the most successful architectural lighting brands known today. In 2009, David spearheaded a transformative integration of Xicato technology into his products, setting a new standard for lighting technology within the industry and changing the way we think of light. David was the first to publish the Macadam ellipse SDCM standard as well as TM-30 data on a fixture spec sheet and first to offer a 5 year "no color shift warranty" launching a revolution in light quality. His latest endeavor focuses on Xicato's new product development for the global Specification markets delivering world-class lighting fixtures and controls that redefine industry standards.
